A day in Sealand
Jacob, 2013, Nov. 18
Today I woke up and fed my pet Puffer fish
Charlie. In Sealand you are required to have a pet. When I was ten I picked out
Charlie, we have been best friends since. Today is a big day we a have very
special holiday that is called Remembering Day.
Remembering day is on the 18Th
of November. It is when we remember our loved ones that have passed. It is a
very special day and is celebrated all around the Sealand.
One of the reasons I celebrate remembering
day is because of my grandmother. She died when I was eight. I was very close
to her. When I used to get home from school, I would go straight to her house.
It was a very sad day when she died.
Journal entry 2
My Awesome life in Sealand
Today was an awesome day in Sealand. It was My 10th birthday,and I got my first animal. I was so happy I got to go to the pet store and chose any one I wanted. I was trying to decide between a seahorse, a dolphin, or a seaturtle. I did iny-miny-miny-moe to decide, and I landed on the dolphin. "Yay," I screamed "I get a dolphin I get my dolphin!!!!!" I slipped the leash over it's snout and swam out into the ocean, "c'mon!!!" I yelled over my shoulder. He swam up behind me and I grabbed onto his fin.
"C'mon, boy! Let's go home!" I pulled on the leash and he swam as fast as his little fins would let him. We swam uo to the front door and I wrenched it open. "Happy Birthday!" My parents yelled, as they jumped out from behind the couch. "Thanks," I said, "Come outside and see my new pet, I picked out a dolphin. His name is George. Come look at him." Thats what my birthday in sealand was like.
